A Thought About Pirates…

Why is it that real life pirates always have to look like this guy…

And not more like this guy?

Seriously, there is just nothing interesting or special about the guy up top. In fact, didn’t I see him in Walnut Hill Park yesterday?

If I were a pirate, I think would definitely try to jazz things up a bit with a hook or an eye patch… or at least make some delicious delicious rum. Mmmm…rum.
