Came across this story on NPR this afternoon.  Pretty crazy stuff!  Are the Iranian authorities paying more attention to popular social networks such as Facebook and Twitter?

  • If this report is true, it’s disturbing to say the least. Then again, I think one of the drawbacks of social networking is the abundance of information people reveal about themselves–it’s publicly available, so of course intelligence gathering agencies will make use of it.
