A random troll once told me that I clearly have a problem with overindulgence… and I laughed.  That’s not an insult; that’s just stating facts.  It’s true.  I love food.  I love wine.  I love beer.  I love reading about food, looking at pictures of food, talking about food  and of course eating it.

I’ve been blogging for years.  If you go back through the archives (which I really cannot recommend), you will see that this blog has gone through many changes over the last 6 years or so.  It started simply as a place for me to ramble on about my days and complain about my life – it was every blog you don’t want to read.

Then about a year or so ago, I purchased my own domain and thus The World According To Kate was born.  And I still had no real direction.  It was comprised of a lot of the random stuff I came across online and just HAD to share, plus restaurants reviews, recipes and photographs.

A year later and I find myself mostly focusing on food. I’m sure there will still be the occasional off topic thing that I just must share.  I can’t help it – I’m naturally interested in just about EVERYTHING.  At this point,  though, the main focus is  food – restaurant reviews, maybe a few recipes, and some of the interesting  food related articles that I come across.
