This is definitely an upgrade from my yellow 2003 Ford Mustang – which I loved, but it really just never felt like me.   As I got older, it felt less and less like me.  A 22 year old driving a yellow Mustang is one thing.  At almost 28, though, it just felt a little odd.  I also definitely didn’t want to go through another New England winter with it!   It was time for something new.

Since it was such a gorgeous day and I didn’t have anything that I absolutely had to get done…  and because my car was really becoming something of an eyesore, I decided that today was the day to do it!  I got up bright and early, (as I often do)  and well, then I did nothing for several hours… and then, then  I drove off to my parents house and went to work!

When the weather’s as nice as it’s been today (76 degrees and sunny right now), it’s actually really a joy to just  be outside and do anything  – even if it is hard work.  And  this was hard work – and disguting –   lots of dirt, bird poop, pollen, and dead bugs (YUCK!) , but now she’s beautiful!

After a couple of hours of hard work, my six year old car looks no older than five!

OK, weird… I’ve heard of cars being described as sexy, but can’t say I’ve ever heard on anyone wanting to have sex with one…  never mind multiple cars.  The article also mentions that he’s once had sex with a helicopter…  How does this even work?  What are the mechanics of this?  I  just don’t get it.  I’m not sure I want to think about it… And what’s the deal with him cheating on his “girlfriend” Vanilla with Cinnamon and Ginger.   So he’s not even faithful to poor Vanilla?  Not cool Edward, not cool…
